Promotes Healthy, Natural Wound Healing
LUCAA+ Probiotic Horse Wound Care spray promotes healthy and natural wound healing. The spray is enriched with beneficial probiotic ‘good’ bacteria, sourced from plants.
These helpful probiotics work in a safe and mechanical way. They inhibit, push back and replace potentially harmful (pathogenic) bacteria, until there is no further pathogenic activity in the wound. This promotes healing and reduces the risk of bacterial infection. As a result, this can also reduce the need for antibiotics.
In addition, the spray does not cause harmful bacteria to mutate and develop resistance (antimicrobial resistance). In this way, it helps to protect the effectiveness of our antibiotics.
- Inhibits pathogenic bacteria and can help reduce antibiotic use.
- Works in a mechanical way that reduces antimicrobial resistance.
- Vegan, plant-based and chemical-free.
Increases Skin’s Natural Resistance to Infection
Staphylococci bacteria occur naturally on skin around the nose, ears and anus. They do not inherently damage healthy skin providing they stay outside of the body. However, they can cause serious infections including Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) if they enter the body via wounds or eczema.
LUCAA+ Probiotic Horse Wound Care reduces the risk of potentially dangerous infections such as MRSA. It increases the skin’s natural resistance in and around wounds and reduces the risk of external bacteria entering the body. An independent laboratory study showed how LUCAA+ Probiotic Pet Wound Care Spray can reduce MRSA by 99%. (This has a similar formulation to Horse Care).
