LUCAA+ Waterworks Cleaner is a probiotic horse drinking water cleaner that cleans inside the stables drinking water supply pipes. In this way, it improves water quality and actively protects your horses’ health and well-being.

The cleaner is enriched with beneficial probiotic ‘good’ bacteria, naturally sourced from plants. These helpful probiotics actively clean potentially harmful biofilm as well as organic waste. 

Biofilm is the slimy layer of thriving opportunistic pathogenic bacteria that easily develops on surfaces in contact with water. It reduces water quality and can cause an unpleasant odour. Horses may unknowingly drink unclean water containing biofilm, risking their health. This probiotic horse drinking water cleaner removes the biofilm, which keeps the water supply cleaner and safer.

Reduces Risk of Iron Overload Toxicity

An adult horse can drink 25 to 30 litres of water per day, and up to 60 to 80 litres when working, which means that ensuring good quality drinking water is essential. Poor quality drinking water can lead to reduced food intake and serious health problems. It can also contain too much iron, which may lead to chronic iron overload, toxicity and even death.

Instructions

This probiotic horse drinking water cleaner cleans the water supply pipes by flushing, which requires expertise and technical knowledge (plumber). Contact your distri­butor if necessary.

Do not use taps during this operation. Firstly, disconnect the water supply at the incoming mains and allow the pipe to run empty. Then connect a booster pump to the main line. Shake the can before use. Add 1 litre LUCAA+ Probiotic Waterworks Cleaner to 10 litres of lukewarm water and use the solution to fill the pipes. Purge the pipes to remove any air. Allow to stand for twelve hours. Disconnect the pipes and drain empty.

Flush with hot water to remove all contamination. Re-connect to the mains, fill and rinse again.
