ANNAA+ Livestock Wound Care Spray promotes healthy and natural wound healing by reducing inflammation and the risk of bacterial infection. The spray is enriched with beneficial probiotic ‘good’ bacteria, naturally sourced from plants.
These helpful probiotics thoroughly and gently clean in and around the wound at a microbial level. They work in a natural and mechanical way, using bio-competition and bio-augmentation, to inhibit, push back and replace potentially harmful pathogenic bacteria, until there is no further pathogenic activity in the wound. This reduces the risk of bacterial infection and helps reduce antibiotic requirements. Fewer antibiotics can significantly reduce time out of the food chain.
ANNAA+ Livestock Wound Care Spray works in a mechanical way that does not cause the pathogenic bacteria to mutate and develop resistance (antimicrobial resistance).
Staphylococci bacteria occur naturally on skin around the nose, ears and anus. They do not inherently damage healthy skin providing they stay outside of the body. If they find a way in via wounds or eczema, they can cause serious infections, including the Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA).
ANNAA+ Livestock Wound Care Spray increases the skin’s natural resistance in and around wounds. This reduces the risk of these potentially dangerous external bacteria entering the body and causing infection.
An independent laboratory study showed how LUCAA+ Pet Wound Care Spray, which has similar probiotic formulation, can reduce Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria (MRSA) by 99%.
Always wear gloves and use clean dressings. Shave the hair around the wound. Clean wound with warm water and gently remove any scabs. Dab carefully to dry. Shake before use. Close the wound if necessary, then lightly spray with ANNAA+ Livestock Wound Care Spray. Apply a bandage if required. Use twice daily until the wound shows signs of healing, then reduce to once daily.
Always consult a vet if in doubt or symptoms persist.
